FLORESVILLE, Texas — Alejandro Garza, a 19-year-old San Antonio man, died Monday, September 21, 2026, after a single-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 181 south of Floresville.
The Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol confirmed that Garza was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

What Happened in the U.S. 181 Crash?
The fatal crash happened at approximately 9 a.m. Monday, about two miles south of Floresville near County Road 224.
According to Wilson County News, Garza was driving a white Chevrolet van when the vehicle rolled over on U.S. 181. The vehicle crossed the median and came to rest overturned in the northbound lanes.
Garza was the only person in the vehicle.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and both northbound lanes of U.S. 181 were closed while authorities investigated the crash and crews cleared the roadway.
The northbound lanes reopened at approximately 11:44 a.m.
