WELLS BRANCH, Texas — Authorities are continuing to investigate the deaths of 37-year-old Anecia Kay Thacker and 32-year-old Lamonica Webb, two Austin women who were found fatally shot inside a Wells Branch-area apartment on Wednesday morning, September 23, 2026.
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Shoreline Drive at approximately 8:45 a.m. after a property manager discovered a body inside one of the units.
