A 2006 International semi-tractor trailer was traveling northbound on Justice Road when it entered the intersection and struck the Jeep on the driver’s side.

The force of the collision sent both vehicles into the west ditch.

The semi was operated by 65-year-old Jimmy Hansen of Coin, Iowa.

Hansen survived the crash and was transported by emergency medical personnel to Guthrie County Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
