Brock Roark Obituary: Clay County, Alabama – Delta Man Dies After Fatal ATV Crash

Brock Roark Obituary, CLAY COUNTY, Ala. — Brock Roark, 34, of Delta, Alabama, died following a fatal ATV crash on Sunday evening in Clay County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

The crash occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Good Hope Delta Road near Crutchfield Drive. Authorities said Roark was operating an all-terrain vehicle when it left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.

Roark was ejected from the ATV during the crash. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, where he was found to have sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the crash site.

A 13-year-old teenager from Villa Rica, Georgia, was also riding on the ATV as a passenger when the crash occurred. The teenager was ejected from the vehicle and suffered critical injuries.

The juvenile was transported to an area hospital for emergency medical treatment but later died from injuries sustained in the crash. The incident therefore claimed the lives of both people who were riding on the ATV.

Authorities have not released additional information about what caused the ATV to leave the roadway. No further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the crash have been provided at this time.

The fatal ATV crash remains under investigation by ALEA troopers, who are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident. Additional information may be released as the investigation continues.
